Happy Quasi-Blogiversary to Blast Off! (ver. 2.0)

Yes, Blast Off!’s official blogiversary (three years) took place in August. But today marks exactly one year since the rebirth of Blast Off! – Version 2.0, if you will.

On October 4, 2006, I officially announced that “my outrage-o-meter has been triggered, and I am wading back into the pool with renewed vigor.” I guess I’ve done that … or at least I hope so. However, my outrage-o-meter remains pegged. So much for progress …

Anyway, thanks for a fun, uncivil, and often frustrating year. Stay tuned for more righteous indignation as Blast Off! 2.0 marches on …

Undisclosed Location Blogging: update

My purpose for traveling here is going very well.

And I am alive. I guess that’s as much as I should expect right now.

So, I haven’t been online all day. What’s this I hear about Larry Craig’s guilty plea being upheld? Couldn’t happen to a nicer toe-tapper guy.

More to come, including a possible Big Announcement …

Undisclosed Location Blogging

Remember when I went to D.C. last month and I was all excited because I had mobile broadband and could liveblog anywhere? Remember that I now have Internet access anywhere I have cell phone access?

Well, I got to my hotel today … no wireless, and somehow I managed to leave my mobile broadband device at home. I am officially a dumbass.

Fortunately, there’s a business center with free computer use. So, here’s my undisclosed location blogging for now. I’ll be home tomorrow night, and then the major undisclosed location blogging takes place next week. In the meantime, have an open thread, and enjoy the views from my hotel balcony.

This is facing west …

And this is a bit closer, just below my room.
